Making for the Mountains with Bigfoot Adventures...

Early Autumn in the Highlands can be hit or miss, with weather and conditions somewhat unpredictable. For the young people from Aberdeenshire training for their Gold DofE expedition it was definitely a hit, with sunshine and midge-repelling breezes! The Gold expedition is usually four days and self-propelled, with the training helping prepare them for this. Camp-craft, map work and lots of leg work were definitely covered, and this led to success later on. Well done guys!
