Cairngorms Bronze with Gold Expeditions...

Multi-day expeditions in the Cairngorm Mountains are often associated with the Gold phase of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and some of the more adventurous silver expeditions ventures. So what a great opportunity of discovery and adventure for the bronze groups being assisted with their expeditions in the Cairngorms National Park! Throughout their practice and qualifying ventures the groups got to travel through wild areas such as the Larig Ghru and the beautiful Loch en Eilean. As Alison Culshaw, owner of Gold Expeditions explains, It’s not just Gold DofE expeditions that the company run’s, but all the expeditions are of a “gold” standard. Her philosophy is to help DofE participants to travel efficiently in the outdoors, and it was good to be a part of this.
