Deeside and Donside with Bigfoot Adventures...

May saw the better weather hit the Highlands, and this also saw the Bronze DofE programme kicking off with Bigfoot Adventures. Although I don't get involved with the Duke of Edinburgh Award as much as in previous years, I still really enjoy it. It's great to see young people faced with physical and psychological challenges which are by and large sorted out by themselves. For some it may be the first time up a mountain without their parents; the first time they've actually cooked for themselves or maybe the first time that they've had to sleep in a tent...
Which end's the door??
Anyone seen a group??
That mountain's not getting any closer...
It's a long road...
Out of the woods...
We've all been there...
Finally at the top...
