Advanced Mountain Leader with JSMTC...

The Advanced Joint Service Mountain Leader qualification is for current JSMELs that wish to lead clients on graded scrambles. As well as the JSMEL, other prerequisites are climbing qualifications and multi-pitch experience. In March I attended this course with JSMTC in North Wales. As well improving my leadership in the scrambling environment I also gained valuable knowledge in fauna, flora and local knowledge of the Snowdonia National Park. Scrambling is a great way of summiting mountains and North Wales has plenty of routes...
