In the Lake District with 212 FD Hospital ...

"Never look down on a medic as you never know when a medic will be looking down on you", or so the saying goes. Looking down is certainly something that the medics, doctors and nurses of 212 FD Hospital got to do in the lakes in March. The three activities were biking, climbing and hillwalking. Despite myself being with the biking groups everyday, it seemed that we were doing all three activities at times! The Lakes has designated MTB trail centres, as well as large wild areas, country lanes and miles of tracks. This meant that we could get every type of riding in, at every level and without travelling far from our base. On top of that, the fitness and attitude of the guys meant that we could take full advantage of this. Well done 212, hope to see you next year!
