Highland Gold with A to Z Expeditions...

Many groups walk on their Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold Expeditions, and quite a few canoe too. But to do both, plus sail in strong winds, is not only a privilege but also a great adventure. Starting at the North-East end of a 27km long loch, with the wind behind you is a great feeling, and then to start at the other end three days later with a South-Westerly wind behind you is a huge bonus. Add two days in the middle of summiting some of Scotland's highest and remotest mountains, and you'll see why participants finished with a smile. It's called Gold for a reason...

Back in the saddle...
