Setting Sail with the SDW...

During Week Ten of an Army Recruits career, they embark on five days of Adventure Training. The main aims are to develop the recruits through Adventure Training, with a focus on the Core Values of the British Army. But on top of this there is the benefit of a change of routine, which is welcome at this stage. I took the opportunity to change my routine for the week, and went to a venue not familiar with myself and introduced an activity not normally used by the SDW. The sailing kits were loaned by A to Z Expeditions and based on the design by Bigfoot Adventures. All that was missing was strong wind...
