I often hear talk about how bad midges can be on the West Coast of Scotland. However, having lived and worked there in the outdoors for three years, and over the East side of the A9 for eight years, I can confirm that the beast is definately worse in
the East! So twenty-five girls did an amazing job of overcoming the challenge of midge hell, as well as the rain, long days and difficult terrain. Over the three days the girls walked long distances, went over Munroes and trained in all aspects of looking
after themselves and their mates whilst journeying through the Scottish Highlands. Well done!
