Gold Walking Practice, with Bigfoot Adventures

Kings and Queens of the Angus Glens...

I've spent the last four days working with a couple of teams train for their Gold Walking expedition in September. Their practice expedition has taken place in the Angus Glens, a spectacular area which is home to Mount Keen - Scotlands' most Easterly Munro. It is also home to huge Red Deer herds, Grouse, spectacular waterfalls, hidden valleys and - for four days - us!

My view from my tent of the mountains...
The girls on their way up Mount Keen...
The River Tanar winds itself down to the Dee...
Navigating through wild country, with Lochnagar in the background...
Looking at Mount Keen from the Shielin of Mark...
Smile! You're on DofE...
Hitting the summits...
