Gold Practice, River Severn, with A to Z Expeditions

This week saw another 'first' for A to Z Expeditions, and I'm glad to have been part of it. It's their first Gold Canoe Expedition, and it was a great success - partly due to great weather and good water levels, but mostly due to the eight participants who worked hard for six days.
Evening on the Severn - the UK's longest river.
Train hard, fight easy - rescue and recovery drills in the sunshine.
Home straight - the team nearing the end of their 140km practice paddle.
Moo-ve over! Cows cooling off in the July heat.
